Hi!  My name is Jami, and I am the owner of Tried but True.

The origin story of this endeavor is a simple one.  When I was a young mother of 2 girls (and then an older mother of 3!), I fell in love with nearly every baby outfit I saw, but I had neither the means nor the desire to pay the asking prices for everything that I wanted.  That led me to begin to buy things on clearance at the end of the season in preparation for the next year. I always felt so savvy and thrifty and proud of myself for making wise decisions when buying the outfits that I just couldn't resist!

It was just a matter of time before I discovered thrift shops. My girls and I (Quinn, Rylan, and Maceyn, now 26, 23, and 14, respectively), along with my mom, have spent hundreds of hours together thrifting! Our closets, our home, and now our shop are full of previously loved things!  

 

When this opportunity for the shop space became available, I became really excited about being able to offer a "thrifting" experience for adorable baby clothing in a boutique setting. I hope we hit the mark with reasonably priced, quality clothing that you will love as much in the present and future as they were in the past!
